Meet Andrew Johnson

I help spacecraft see where they’re landing.

Meet Andrew Johnson, a guidance, navigation, and control engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Andrew is part of the team working on the Lander Vision System. This technology will help rovers like Perseverance on the Mars 2020 mission know where it is landing and avoid large hazards during landing. Andrew, like many others at NASA, has found a way to continue his work from home.
