Jennifer Pulley, Host

Host, Jennifer Pulley

Jennifer Pulley is a speech communications and early education graduate from University of Richmond who works as a freelance actor, model, spokesperson and voice talent.

In addition to her work on Innovation Now, she has also hosted and produced Emmy Award winning programs such as NASA's Destination Tomorrow, NASA 360 and NASA CONNECT.  She's also had roles on Discovery Channel's "The New Detectives" and "A Haunting." She also performs in numerous commercials, radio and print work for national companies such as JCPenney, Clorox, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Anheuser Busch, Quaker and Wal-Mart.

Formerly a school teacher, Jennifer began her television career in 1994 as a correspondent for "Buz TV," a local entertainment program. She went on to host and produce the Emmy nominated "Brain Stew," a regionally syndicated educational children's program rated in the Annenberg Public Policy Center's top 10 list of quality educational programs in the country.

In her free time, Jennifer practices yoga, runs and enjoys surfing. She enjoys cooking, SCUBA diving and reading to and playing with her two daughters.


Scott Bednar, Producer/Editor

Scott Bednar

In addition to his role as audio editor and writer for Innovation Now, Scott Bednar also serves as a producer, editor and videographer for the award-winning NASA 360, and NASA eClips video series.

Hailing from Seaford, New York, Scott Bednar matriculated from Towson University in Maryland, where he pursued a degree in Electronic Media and Film. During that time he gained experience with Renegade Studios. Before coming to the National Institute of Aerospace, Bednar spent a number of years working on the team of a national trade newspaper. His past projects at NIA include NASA & You and Discovery Now and he has provided video editing and technical support for the Virginia Beach City Public School Dynamic Video Library, TEDxNASA, and numerous LiveStream events.

Scott is the recipient of a number of recent honors for technical excellence and creativity including several from the International Academy of the Visual Arts (Communicator, Davey and W3 awards), Aegis, Digital Video, Accolade and a Capitol Region Emmy.
